Wonka-ful
We remember the first time we watched Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Our tummies grumbled with Charlie's as he stared in the window. We danced with him and grandpa when they found a golden ticket. And we too held our breaths as Willy Wonka emerged from the chocolate factory. We're pretty sure it took us a total of thirty seconds to fall in love with Gene Wilder's rendition of the eccentric candy-maker. As a matter of fact, we know the exact moment. When Willy Wonka tipped forward, turned a tumble into a somersault and burst to his feet we were hooked.
Willy Wonka is like the best character in that movie. Shrewd. Sarcastic. Sly as a fox. And (how could we forget) an exceptional maker of chocolates! We loved his candidness and his unpredictability. We loved everything about his person and personality, and we're going to guess we're not alone. How could we be? Here you are looking at a Willy Wonka Costume, after all!
