Toddler's Red Riding Hood Tutu Costume

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Will you be heading off to grandmother's house this Halloween? You guys will practically be able to recreate Little Red's fairy tale if you are! You guys can stroll over and ring the doorbell. Grandma will yell "You can come on in, I'm just laying down on the couch!" (We know grandma wasn't on the couch in the fairytale, it just seems more practical for a re-creation of the story.) You guys will walk in, and grandma will be wearing wolf makeup and ears on the couch! 

She'll pretend nothing is wrong, and you'll just wait and watch your little one slowly process grandma's new look. Truthfully, this could go two different ways. One, your child recognizes that it's their grandma and they giggle and smile and laugh at their costume. Two, they don't realize it's their grandma, they remember the wolf from the story, and they are terrified. Before you use this idea for yourself, it's probably worth considering which reaction is more likely from your child! 

FUN DETAILS 

This is the perfect costume to wear to grandma's and through the whole night of trick or treating! They'll be wearing a white leotard with short sleeves under a red mesh tutu skirt. Over this, they'll be wearing a red and white apron. Over the apron, they'll be wearing a red velvet hooded cape. the cape fastens with Hook and Loop fastener at the neck. As a final touch, we've included red and white hair bows.
