What did the bearer of Nenya say when the hobbit asked what it did?
But seriously folks, the bearer of Nenya, the guardian of the White Wood, and the greatest of the Eldar of Middle Earth has some serious style. There's no one else that looks so at ease gliding silently through ancient forests. It's good to have friends you can count on and Galadriel is one of those few, even in intense, hopeless scenarios! For instance, when Gandalf was stranded on the peak of Celebil, it was Galadriel who sent the great eagle, Gwaihir to rescue him. Most people are lucky if they have a friend that'll come help them fix a flat!
When you're thinking of the elves, Galadriel is the very picture of who comes to mind. She's been around a very long time. In fact, she was born before the First Age began. By the time Frodo and his friends came to visit her before heading to Mordor she was well into her thousands but didn't look a day over thirty!
If you're looking to gain an air of authority and mystical wisdom (not to mention timeless Elvin fashion) for your next costumed event, this Galadriel costume is a wonderful choice. You'll feel right at home in White Council meetings with the elegant, split sleeves that fall long past the waist. The body of the dress is a straight cut shift made with a gauzy white that's studded with silver. Top it off with the silver headpiece and you'll be ready to spread your wisdom across Middle Earth! And if anyone asks where you got that fancy, glowing ring, you know what to tell them. That's Nenya business!
