    Came Snapped in Half

I don't think it is Fun's fault for this, this seems to have everything to do with how the item is packed into the box and where the stand is placed inside the package by the manufacturer and I suspect the ones in Fun's warehouse are all snapped in half as well. They placed the thickest part of the stand in the middle of the box (so the foot of the stand is in the middle), and then with a thin piece of foam over top they layed the blade on top pf that, and the blade is made of resin. It is a recipe for disaster as the slightest pressure on either side of that blade in shipping or one good bump in transit and snap it goes in half.

Fun did send it with zero additional packaging and just in the box it originally came to them in, which probably didn't help. It is long and heavy and I guess they didn't want to spend any more money on shipping, but if it wasn't broken when it came to the warehouse it for sure was by the time it traveled in that thin stock box here.

Anyway I crazy glued it back together and tried to patch the paint where you can see it is cracked (last photo), you can still tell but it is for display purposes so it is at least together okay and looks good from afar. Not ideal for cosplay unless you are going to be babying it, and you are taking your chances ordering it that this was just a fluke (and again, it is packaged from the manufacturer to fail).

Fun, you guys may want to check your stock and make sure they are not all broken and if not, note they need more padding when you ship them. I live in Canada and didn't want the nightmare of trying to return it, but would be a nightmare for you if someone in the US kept trying with exchanges until they got a good one, if they are all in fact broken from their trip overseas in the first place.

Neat item! Just wish people thought about things before packaging them.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
