Girl's Red Fringe Flapper Kids Costume

So, you think your kiddo would make a good flapper? Are they strong willed and free spirited? Are they a wild child that does what they want when they want? Do they love music and having fun? If this sounds like your child, then this costume is a perfect fit. See, Flappers were all of those things and more! They were wild and bold and brave! They saw the status quo and said: "No thanks, we're good!" 

We like to think we'd have made great flappers back in the day. Their fun and strong spirit goes perfectly with everything we have here at FUN.com! That, paired with the fact that we have tons of outfits from the 1920's, makes us think that we would have blended in wonderfully. But, until we develop time travel, we are just going to have to settle for wearing our costumes on Halloween! 

FUN DETAILS 

This costume feels like a blast from the past! It consists of the dress and headband pictured above. The dress is a sleeveless pullover tank dress and has 7 layers of fringe around the skirt, making this dress a blast to wear when dancing! There is sequin edging along the neckline so that it matches the sequins on the headband. Last but not least comes the feather on the headband, like the metaphorical cherry on top of this great costume! All they'll need to do is bob their hair and put on some dancing shoes, and they will be all set. 

MODERN DAY FLAPPERS? 

In 100 years from now, what do you think they will look back at from this decade and make into costumes? Will people be wearing skinny jeans for their costumes? Or snapback hats? Maybe they'll be wearing old football jerseys of all of the greats. We don't know what will survive our era, but we have a feeling that people will still be wearing flapper costumes!
