FAIR MAIDEN
This costume will have every knight within the nine realms trying to rescue you! Sounds nice, right? Wrong. How annoying would that be? Sure, it'd be nice for a while having someone always looking out for you. Imagine trying to jump over a puddle, when you are blindsided and swept off your feet. Some annoying knight just had the audacity to pick you up and carry you over the puddle. It wasn't even an inch deep, you didn't need saving. And now he expects you to thank him for it. Doesn't sound all that fair right?
There would be perks though. Some of the maidens you read about in fairy tales are trapped in high towers, and sure, being trapped would be a downer, but think of the view they must have from way up there! We bet it's gorgeous.
FUN DETAILS
The dress you'll be wearing come in a soft yet elegant maroon. It is accented with green and gold and goes perfectly with the cape you'll be wearing. The cape is an olive green comes attached to the dress. The dress looks like the white underneath is a separate piece but it is actually all one, making it incredibly simple to wear. The finishing touches for this costume are the pin and the headpiece you'll be wearing! The pin is set with a fake gem, and the headpiece is made of foam and is wrapped in a spiraling gold, giving off a gentle sense of royalty.
INDEPENDENT MAIDEN
If you find that too many knights are trying to save you when you wear this costume, don't hesitate to tell them off. You are an independent maiden and you don't need a man to save you! Now get out there, be strong, and have fun!
