SOCK HOP
It's time to bring dresses like these back in style. It's been far too long since the 1950's, we are due for cute little dresses like this! This dress has an old-timey feel that leaves us nostalgic for a decade we never even got to see. But, we wish we did! We would have loved cruising around in a classic car, listening to Ray Charles and Buddy Holly.
Of course, a classic car back then wasn't actually a classic car at the time, back then it was just a regular car. But still! Since we are from the future, we could really appreciate those cars for what they are. We'd take our beautiful cars down to the drive-in theater and catch the newest scary film! Scary movies from way back then weren't exactly all that scary, but they are still quite entertaining to watch!
FUN DETAILS
This costume was designed to look just like one of the classic styles from the 50's! We'd like to think that wearing this to school in 1957 would have made you the coolest gal in school. The dress is made of 100% polyester and has a back zipper to hold it in place. The dress is styled to look like a skirt and blouse, the blouse is white with black polka dots and the skirt is bright blue. You'll find bright blue accents on the blouse as well, making this outfit match perfectly. And of course, the skirt is decorated with detailing to look like a poodle on the front.
BACK TO THE 50'S
If you could take this dress back in time to the early 1950's you could actually become the trendsetter that makes this look popular! Then, you could come back to our time and say "Yeah, I actually started that trend." And all you'll need to make it happen is a time machine! So simple, right?
