Say Your Prayers
Have ever seen an insect up close? Those tiny creatures are actually quite terrifying. With all the legs, the pincers, those creepy eyes… it’s hard enough to not be afraid of these little fiends already. Now, imagine if they were bigger. We’re not talking about ‘rainforest big’, no. We mean human size! How utterly horrifying would it be to face to face with a bug the same size as you? One thing is for sure, us humans sure would have a rough time trying hold on to the title of ‘top of the food chain’. Oh, and the bug spray industry would go through the roof!
This Halloween you can give everyone the scare of a lifetime when you enter the party scene wearing this Adult Praying Mantis Costume. Everybody will be saying their prayers when they see your bulbous bug eyes and your spikey raptorial forelegs. Just keep an eye out for the female mantises… they tend to be a bit on the cannibalistic side.
Design and Details
This costume is designed with soft-sculpted eyes and proboscis. There are also two antennae on the top of the hood. The tunic is foam-backed and has a hook/loop fastener at the center back to ensure a good fit. Its sleeves are designed with stuffed spikes to match the appearance of the mantis. The boot covers are also foam-backed and constructed with hook/loop straps on their backs. Once you fasten the final hook/loop fixture on the chinstrap and zip up the back, you’ll be ready to go.
