I have other packs by other manufacturers, and hands down this is the best pack you can buy for the money. This pack looks MUCH better. It is the correct mold and shape of a Proton Pack. No square corners. No speaker grille on the cyclotron. The bumper is NOT molded in! I cancelled my other pack pre-order once I received this pack. That is how impressed I am with this pack. It is perfect for the person who just wants to bust some ghosts on Halloween. It is also perfect for someone like me, who is going to modify it and take it to conventions. (However, you could go to a Con without modding this pack in any way and it would be perfect! I just like to modify my packs.) This pack can't weigh more than 10 pounds, which is much lighter than any of my other packs. I don't know what else to say. There is not another pack option out there that looks this good, comes with an ALICE frame AND a Neutrona wand. I am happy to spend half as much and have the extra cash left over to buy the parts to make this better than the others. That's what I am going to do. If you are on the fence, just buy it! For the price, you CANNOT go wrong! In the pics you will see this pack, the 2025 version of the Halloweencostumes / Fun.com pack. The pack on the right is my modified 2023 version of the Halloweencostumes.com / Fun.com pack. This 2025 pack is not small. That 2023 is oversized. Just so you have a reference. One last thing: Do yourself a favor and check out the review on this 2025 pack on Ghostbusters News. - Pretty good intro PackSubmitted: October 24, 2025Reviewed By: Christopher | October 24, 2025All in all this is a good pack. I like the design and overall appearance better than my other full size. The sounds are a little off but I like the ability to have the lights on separately and the permanent hum. But be careful... Apparently the straps come installed incorrectly. When I went to put it on for a test fit the strap came apart, pivoted on the strap I was still holding, and the Ion rod broke off and the motherboard broke at the bottom. Make sure you look up the proper way to thread the Alice frame straps. Wish it had been a little sturdier but a good intro into GB cosplay.Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
