We never understood the phrase "Ugly Duckling." Like, have you seen ducklings? They're adorable! They're so fluffy and innocent with those big bungling feet and little bills. And, even if you wait long enough until the ducks hit that awkward growth stage where they're half feathers half fluff, they're still super cute (in that mismatched gawky kind of way). So then it's settled. Ducklings are delightful.
So delightful, in fact, that we wouldn't be surprised if your very own youngster would prefer to be a duckling instead of human. Why wouldn't they? Ducklings get free food and pretty much get to have swimming lessons all day. They get to play in the water, chase each other, and wander around to their heart's content. Being a baby duck sounds like a pretty good deal to us.
So if your young one is thinking they want to try out being a duckling for a bit, consider our Child Duck Costume. This 100 percent polyester outfit comes with everything they need to feel like a true duck (except for a pond). The yellow duckling shirt has elastic at the waistband, a zipper down the back, and a big white tummy. The orange tights have an elastic waistband and elastic band at the end of the leg to put under the foot. Included are two orange foot covers, padded to look like big, webbed ducky feet, and a headpiece. The headpiece is attached to the shirt and it is stuffed to maintain shape. The headpiece has an adorable little tuft of hair, bright eyes, and a nice big orange bill. If anything, this is an adorable duckling.
Now all your young one will need to do is to practice their quacks! We recommend a bit of wing-flapping at the same time for good measure. Ready?...
