THAT DEER IN THE HEADLIGHT LOOK
Ever really wonder what that expression means? Are they startled? Confused? Maybe they're just spying and waiting for the car to continue on its way so the deer can turn back to each other and continue their interesting debate on particle physics. We really can't ever be sure because those guys are way too smart, kicking over cameras in the hunting grounds and hiding in plain sight.
But, perhaps it may be just an instinct to pause and fade into the background invisibly. Makes one wonder if you can play a game of red light, green light with them. What would even happen? Would they advance? Freeze solid? Maybe go into one of those fits like those poor fainting goats that run off until they're spooked and then just pass out in a sudden heart-stopping moment?
