If you are wearing it for really cold temperatures you might want a shirt under it, but here in Arizona it is just right. I had gained weight so I got a large and it feels more like a men’s large so keep this in mind if you purchase it. It pairs very well with the Care Bear hat :)Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
