Fa la la la la, hahahaha!
Christmas trees are supposed to be the beautiful centerpiece of the holidays. The lights, the lush green fronds, the ornaments. What's not to love? But once you start looking into holiday disaster anecdotes, you'll notice that trees are still the centerpiece of the stories. There's the story of a Christmas tree that's about three times too big for the living room and a resulting tear-inducing DIY trim job. There are the stories of burning candles being kept too close to the flammable pine needles. And then, of course, there's the delightful story that naturally comes from taking a live tree from the woods and placing it in your home... the live squirrel story! You know... the tree's brought home, trimmed, and decorated with care, only for a squirrel to rocket out of the branches as The Night Before Christmas is read. Okay, okay. To be honest, we never actually found a real-life account of this happening, but it's still our favorite evergreen disaster story.
This Christmas season, celebrate the fiascos as well as the festivities that go along with the holidays. This Made by Us sweater is just the thing! With a bright pattern of retro bulbs and pine branches, your fellow revelers will know exactly what's going on when they spot the squirrel attached with snaps your shoulder. Perfect for decorating the Christmas trees or trading holiday horror stories at an ugly Christmas sweater pub crawl, this sweater might even be more memorable than that time Aunt Marge tipped the tree over during your family's Christmas conga line!
