My boys are rough and tumble fellas, and this hat takes the abuse and bounces back. Sons are 4 and 6. I should have bought 2 because they fight over it. Now I am looking for a Buzz Lightyear helmet!Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
