We all wear masks. Even if you aren't wearing a mask, you still have a mask on (metaphor). We all try to be as honest as possible, but sometimes masks need to be worn, whether it be for protection, confidence, or to hide. Sometimes it's easier to throw on a mask and go about your day than dealing with life head-on. Okay, we are not therapists and do not have a medical license, so we technically cannot give you medical advice (the first one is always free, anyway), but when we look at our girl Ursula, we can see that she wore a mask in The Little Mermaid. We are not Ursula apologists, but it seems as if she just wants what was taken away from her. We don't get a ton of backstory for Ursula, but she hints at once living in the palace in the classic Disney movie. That, along with all her powers (besides Triton, she is the only person with magic powers . . . interesting), make us think she and King Triton have a long, storied history together.
