Stories to Tell
Young Sarah Bellows couldn’t help but spill ink about her tortured life and grim secrets — casting a large shadow over the small town of Mill Valley for generations. It’s unfortunate for the unsuspecting teens who wandered into the old Bellows mansion in 1968 that all her stories have a way of becoming all too real, but it’s a treat for fans of the 2019 Guillermo del Toro movie Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, based on Alvin Schwartz’s books!
Another treat for fans of the flick? This officially licensed Harold mask, complete with the frayed hair, cracked skin, and blank eyes that make him such a terrifying character. The faux hair comes attached on the back of the mask, while small eye openings in the front of the character’s eyes allow a limited field of view. In all the latex mask will cover your whole head, which you slip on through a slit in the back.
While the title of the film implies that the story of the three teens, Tommy, and Harold is scary to tell in the dark, this Harold mask is terrifying under any circumstances! In a dark field, a dimly-lit corridor, a bright entryway on Halloween night—wearing it practically guarantees one’s share of scares.
