At 5'7" with a 42DD bust, your chest measurement is likely in the 42 to 44 inch range, which lands right at our 1X with a 44.5 inch chest. However, if your hips and thighs are on the wider side, the 2X with 50 inch hips and a 39.5 inch waist may give you more room where you need it. The corset has a side zipper and decorative ribbon lacing at the center back, so there is some adjustability in the fit, and the skirt has an elastic waistband as well.
