An Unforgettable Legacy

Ahh, King Henry VIII, a man most famous for having six wives, excommunicating himself from the Church of England, and ushering in the age of Queen Mary. He was quite a controversial, but interesting, historical figure, that’s for sure. What people don’t remember Henry for, however, is that he was an avid musician, having composed a number of musical pieces and owning a couple hundred instruments; also, he had over 50 mansions! That’s a lot, even for English royalty. He was a man of excess, it seems. So, when you throw on Plus Size King Henry Costume, feel free to take what’s yours, and what’s not yours too! It’s exactly what the King would do.

In this outfit, you don’t need to be as cartoonishly villainous as Henry VIII was, but you can certainly help yourself to the last slice of pizza, or to a generous helping of a shared meal. You shouldn’t even feel bad about it—Henry would approve! And your friends might get a kick out of your newfound focus on yourself.

Fun Details

This finely-detailed outfit features a tapestry tunic (did we mention Henry VIII had a collection of several thousand tapestries? Because he did.) that fastens with gold-tone buttons and has lace edging and faux gem accents. The faux suede jacket adds a touch of elegance to the royal look, as do the puffed sleeves and faux fur collar. The classic looking white thigh-high stockings are also included, along with a black velvet hat with feather edging and more faux gems...you can’t be a ruler of excess without lots of bling to show yourself off!

Just for Fun

Obviously, even while wearing this outfit, you should still be the kind, generous person you always are...remember, Henry VIII is basically only remembered because he was so selfish, and you don’t want that for yourself! But, just a little hint of helping yourself before everyone else is ok every once in a while! Now go have some fun!
