You can't just make the waist bigger. If you have boobs this dress will be too small. I had to alter mine and the "corset" is cheap polyester material that just runs. I was surprised being 6 ft 1 that the dress covered my toes. Be careful when wearing, cause one snag and the thing will fall apart.Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
