ANCIENT GREEK AND ROMAN FASHION
Now, we know that the Greeks and the Romans were doing a lot of stuff right. They made major technological advancements and they governed themselves in ways that the world has never really seen. But, despite all of these incredible things, we still think the single greatest thing that they left us with was the toga.
Toga's are the epitome of high fashion in our book. They are simple yet elegant, and the way that they flow in the breeze makes you feel like Aphrodite herself! If it was up to us, togas would be a daily wear around here. They are so comfortable and practical, and they really let you breathe! Just think of all the fun twists you could put on a toga. You could even bedazzle it if you really wanted! Cover it with sequins and flowers. Your toga is a blank canvas on which you paint your style; so whatever you do, just make sure it speaks to you!
This toga comes in the form of an elegant offwhite dress. It is floor length, with a strap coming over the right shoulder. The torso and the ankles are wrapped in a simple trim, and we've included a medallion that attaches with a safety pin. We've also included a headband because accessories are important when it comes to the toga look! The headband is black with gold braid edging, and it fastens with satin ribbon ties.
When it's time for you to put on your toga, who will you become? You could become an emperor, a warrior, or if you are thinking bigger, you could even become a goddess. How would you like to be Athena, or Aphrodite, or Venus? Whoever you become, whether they are Greek or Roman, make sure to have fun!
