This vest well stitched and feels fairly sturdy, and it’s double-breasted with actual button holes on the inside for the second column of buttons so that it won’t just flop around on you. My husband is around a 38R in suits, and I bought this in a M with the matching jacket in 40R and both are just ever so slightly big on him as I expected (I figured since it was final sale it would be better to go slightly too big rather than too small), but this does have the usual adjuster in the back so it was easy to tighten up a little and it looks great!
I didn’t even realize it came with a matching bowtie as well, but that was a nice surprise!Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.![]()
