I'm 5'5" and the large fit me great. Not too tight and will be wearing on Christmas Day for a personal photoshoot! I also recommend getting the socks to complete the look! Very soft. Doesn't have plush inside but I'll have undergarments on. You could wear your birthday suit underneath, but not suitable for outdoors. This is a lounging at home union suit!Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
