On the Rocks
People have the wrong idea about cave people. They think you were all work and no play! Sure, life was hard back then—food needed to be hunted, fires started, and clothing made. You couldn't walk into a grocery store and buy your chicken breasts and chips and artisan cheese like you can now. There were no thermostats and no gas fireplaces and no electricity. Oh, and there were dinosaurs. Some would try to eat you. So, things were a struggle. There wasn't even sophisticated language yet!
But, it's not true you weren't able to let your hair down for a night. A few caves over was the Rock Bar, and everyone in your clan knew it was the spot to see and be seen around the settlement. When the babies were asleep and the meat hung up to dry, folks would pour into the Rock Bar to grunt about the day's goings on and lament the callouses on their bare feet. And everyone knew you couldn't wear your day skins to the Rock Bar. Nope. This Goin' Clubbin' Cave-lady Costume embodies the spirit of the Rock Bar: fun, flirty, and totally prehistoric!
Fun Details
This "evening" attire is comprised of a leopard print dress with a classic sweetheart neckline. Ribbon ties and "bones" adorn the bodice, while matching leopard arm and leg wraps keep your extremities warm on a chilly walk to the bar. The double-layer skirt has a jagged hemline for that "I just may have had a run-in with a saber-tooth cat" air of mystery, and we recommend leaving your hair down and natural to play up this wild look!
