FUN.com Helps Schools Across Country Celebrate Hats Off to Reading

NORTH MANKATO, Minn., Feb. 28, 2023 (FUN.com) – FUN.com and sister site HalloweenCostumes.com are excited to announce they have teamed up with Dr. Seuss Enterprises for the Hats off to Reading event on March 2. In celebration of Dr. Seuss's 119th birthday, FUN.com has donated 360 Cat in the Hat-styled hats to teachers across the country.
Every year, teachers and students across the nation participate in Hats Off to Reading, a week-long reading celebration in honor of Dr. Seuss's inspirational books. This event shows young readers that reading and learning can be fun and exciting experiences.

In addition to the national Hats Off to Reading event, FUN.com's donation will be used for the 7th annual Tackle Reading event on March 2. Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Creative Minds Publications will bring NFL players to schools across the country. There they will read a Dr. Seuss book in assembly style and participate in other celebratory activities to inspire kids to fall in love with reading.
This year's participating NFL teams include the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, and Miami Dolphins.
Every school participating in the Tackle Reading event will receive a diverse collection of Random House Children's Books titles; each student will receive a Dr. Seuss book from Random House Children's Books and Dr. Seuss school supplies from GEDDES; and every teacher will receive a Dr. Seuss t-shirt from Life is Good and a Cat in the Hat-style hat from FUN.com.
Dr. Seuss said it best, "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."
