- Restocking of building supplies
- Use of a cardboard baler
- Technician Assistant / General laborer
- Moving / assembly of furniture and equipment
- Light carpentry
- Basic plumbing
- Running errands to get various parts / supplies.
Base Pay: $15.25 out of season; in season $18.00 (September 7-November 1)
- Current forklift, stock-picker, ride-on pallet jack and other powered equipment experience with a training certification.

We do our best to keep our building and everything in it in tip-top shape, but this place is huge and we need another Facilities Specialist to help keep this place running smoothly. That means that we’re looking for a person who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and take care of whatever comes our way. From fixing scooters one day to using a forklift to get rid of tons of cardboard (not even close to an exaggeration) and replacing the lights on the ceiling of the warehouse, you’ll never be short of tons of random stuff to take care of! Since you will be doing different tasks almost every day, you will be learning almost every day.
What’s the best part? You can take these skills home with you! This is awesome because then you don’t have to pay someone to fix something you already know how to fix. It will also help in preventing YouTube how-to failures. Let’s face it, we’ve all been there and we don’t want to talk about it…
Requirements

TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE LEAD
FUN.com is the home of HalloweenCostumes.com and, of course, FUN.com. We sell and ship all types of products to people all over the world and we do so in a slightly offbeat fashion. And we like it that way! FUN.com wants you: an energetic, dynamic, fantastic individual to be in our Shipping department. You will help pick and pack orders, and then send our costumes, shirts, gifts, toys, and other products all around the world! It’s like being Santa Claus – only not really like Santa at all.
During our peak season, you will be tasked with helping lead and train seasonal staff. We are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate who has excellent computer skills, previous experience in a lead or trainer role, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You must be comfortable communicating with employees and giving basic feedback while being able to plan out your days to set the team up for success.
In addition to covering the day-to-day roles within our warehouse, we’re looking for somebody with a strong passion for making continuous improvements and enjoys NERF gun fights. That last part is optional, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt.

As an on-call makeup artist, you will work with our Multimedia team in our onsite studio to complete the look for our costumes. That’s right, we are looking for someone skilled in everything from zombie makeup to beauty makeup for a princess costume. If you have experience applying and removing character and/or beauty makeup and are regularly available for short periods of time during normal office hours [Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 5:00 pm] then we want to see what you got! No need to bring your own supplies. We have a fully stocked beauty bar – the beauty bar of your dreams!
Do you obsessively watch online makeup tutorials? Do you call yourself a beauty guru? Looking for a way to exercise your makeup creativity? You may be exactly what we’re looking for!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Apply a variety of makeup looks on talent; including men, women and children. Don’t worry, we don’t require any makeup for pet costumes! That’s really not a thing anyway...hopefully. Although maybe you can be the first?
- Create dramatic character and theatrical makeup using mostly water based face paints. Some old age and injury looks are required using extreme highlight/shadow with occasional FX makeup
- Create basic beauty makeup looks for photo shoots
- Removing special FX makeup from talent at the end of photo shoots
- Prep supplies for makeup application and maintain an organized and clean work area
- Clean makeup kits, makeup bins and makeup counter after each photo shoot
- Alter and maintain makeup during photo sessions as needed
- Creativity, imagination and problem solving ability
- Must be able to apply makeup quickly and accurately. Average application time for beauty makeup must be completed between 10-15 minutes per look. Character makeup is given 30 minutes per look
- Extreme attention to detail
- Experience with dramatic character, theatrical, facepaint and special FX makeup
- Knowledge of special FX makeup applications, including creating a build up from scratch without the use of a prosthetic
- Comfortability working with a variety of people of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environments under pressure
- Advanced knowledge of makeup hygiene practices to follow before and after applying makeup
- Working knowledge of how to use with latex, adhesives and adhesive removers
- Must have flexible daytime availability as photo shoots are typically during office hours
