THE LIFE OF A KNIGHT
We think that being a knight would be awesome. If we could be put back in medieval times and transformed into a knight, we totally would. We can picture it now... We would have to change our name, of course. We would change our name to Funnius. Sir Funnius, knight of royal guard.
We'd be quiet, but clever, and we would always say the right thing. We'd have a perfect moral compass and everyone would trust us to fight for the good of the people. We'd be the kings most trusted advisor and his closest friend. Our only flaw would be that we could not tell a lie. (which is hardly a flaw at all, it's almost a good thing actually. It just shows how great of a knight we are.) People would stitch tapestries portraying all of our heroic deeds and they would sing songs to remember us by.
FUN DETAILS
We might not be able to go back in time to become Sir Funnius, but at least with this costume we can still pretend! This costume starts with a tunic that has knit mesh sleeves and a shield printed on the front. The tunic fastens on the back with a zipper and has a metallic knit mesh hood. We've included a faux leather belt with a gold plastic buckle and fingerless gloves with wide cuffs, perfect for sword fighting. All you will need is a horse to ride and a king to serve.
SIR FUNNIUS
If we are Sir Funnius, what will your medieval name be? Just take your real name and add "ius" to it! Is your name Sam? become Samius! Is your name Thomas? Become Thomasius? Those certainly sound like the names of knights to us! Whatever your knight name might be, just remember: You fight for justice in the name of the king!
