The robe is 100% polyester, and polyester generally does well with a gentle machine wash in cold water, though hand washing is the safer choice if you want to protect the mesh drapes, face veil, and hook and loop fastener on the hood. Either way, a mild detergent and your plan to air dry are exactly right for keeping the fabric in good shape.

The hooded cape includes a face veil, so yes, it does cover the face. The veil is made of mesh, which means air passes through it easily and you can breathe comfortably without needing to add a separate mask.

At 6'6" (78 inches), the robe length is worth a close look. The largest sizes with full measurements top out at 66 inches for the 6X, which would likely fall above the ankle on someone your height. Comparing your chest and waist measurements to our size chart will help you land on the right size, but keep in mind the robe will run shorter on a taller frame.

With a 48 to 52 inch waist, the 2X could work well since it has a 58 inch waist, giving you some room to move. If you'd like a little more breathing room, the 3X has a 60 inch waist and might be a more comfortable fit. Comparing your measurements against our full size chart is always the surest way to land on the right size.
