Questions & Answers
Q: I'm having trouble making sense of the sizing. On a "Large," the shirt chest size is 33" but the corset chest size is 38".... If I need 36-38, is the shirt going to fit? How are they five inches different? Thank you. (1 Answer)

Great question, and the difference makes sense once you know what each measurement means. The shirt chest is the flat measurement of the fabric itself, while the corset chest is the measurement around your body that the corset is designed to fit. So the 33" shirt chest on the Large means the fabric panel measures 33" laid flat, which works out to roughly a 36-38" body chest when worn, aligning with the corset's 38" chest for the same size. For a 36-38" chest, the Large looks like a strong candidate, but compare your measurements to the size chart to be sure.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: This says it runs small, does it run small in a certain spot or all-over? And by how much?
(1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | September 13, 2026
Monster Responds...
The surest way to find your fit is to compare your own chest, waist, and hip measurements against our size chart, since costume sizing doesn't always match clothing sizing. The corset has a zipper down the center back, which gives a little flexibility in fit, and the skirt has an elastic waistband that stretches from the lower number to the higher number listed for each size. If your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend sizing up.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: How should we wash this in the safest way possible to keep the sparkle and stitching perfect?
(1 Answer)
Asked by Amanda | September 11, 2026
Monster Responds...
For the safest clean, hand wash each piece separately in cool water with a gentle detergent, then lay flat to dry. The all-over sequins on the corset and the glittery snowflake graphics on the mesh shirt and organza cape are especially delicate, so avoiding a machine's agitation and heat will help keep them intact and sparkling.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Do you have a less expensive Elsa costume for a toddler?
(1 Answer)
Asked by Patricia | September 8, 2025
Monster Responds...
This particular Elsa costume is an adult style, so it won't be the right fit for a toddler. If you search "Elsa toddler" on our site, you'll find Elsa costumes made specifically for little ones, including options at a range of price points.(AI Generated Answer)
