And as if answering every Sleeping Beauty fan's dream, we crafted this Premium Disney Aurora Sleeping Beauty Costume just for you!
Fun Details
This exclusive Made By Us costume is based on the look from the classic film. Aurora's classic gown comes together starting with a color palette Flora would approve. The skirt is shaped from satin with a glittering starburst pattern. The bodice is made of velvet and features sequin decorations, iridescent shoulders, triangle peplums, and chiffon sleeves. The dress zips in the back. A gold foam tiara and hook-and-loop fastened collar complete the look.

Q: How accurate are the measurements? I've followed others and they have been off by as much as 2 inches. I'm in the middle of Large and XL (some are in the one and others are in the other size) I'm trying to decide if I should go big or if I would just be ok with a tight chest. (1 Answer)

Costume sizes are very different than regular clothing sizes, and do vary from costume to costume. The best way to order is by taking your measurements, add 3-4 inches to them for movement, and compare them to those listed on the product page. For reference I'm 5'4", 28" waist, 34"/36" bust. What I loved: the photo accurate color, the character accurate silhouette, the soft velvet bodice with no boning, the crinoline (once steamed and properly fluffed) created full skirt that's fun to twirl in, and the sleeves are the good mesh that doesn't pinch. The things I didn't like as much: there is no seam tape or lining (as is common in costumes) and the seams do poke around the waist and chest/shoulders, the bodice is meant for someone with a longer torso than me so there is a little bunching around the upper chest and waist, the skirt is just a titch to long (nothing a cute pair of heels can't fix) so if you're shorter than me or don't like heels just something to be aware of.Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
