They're oversized so I'd say to focus on sleeve length. You can tuck them in your pants and even if not, they perfectly drape from the hips if you push them in. SO SOFT! Doesn't feel scratchy like wool. I'd suggest the Sesame Street Knit scarf to compliment it. And of course, bring cookies! Now I just have to find a Cookie Monster bucket hat and I'm all set!
I got the Elmo sweater and was worried about it being too small. It won't be. The Elmo sweater fits good(I got a 3x and I'm 5'5, but like I said it fits my arms and I drape it from the waist so it's not down to my knees), but if you want a more sleek, snugger fit, I'd go smaller.Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
