Kirby’s Dream Hats: 12 Characters We Wish Kirby Would Inhale

Written by

Kirby's Dream Hats Trading Cards

The perfectly pink and oh-so-adorable title star of the iconic Nintendo video game series Kirby is pretty well-known for his acts of imitation. Selecting the spherical hero in Super Smash Bros. gives you access to a whole mess of different moves. Why? Because every time Kirby inhales another character he is able to copy their standard special move. Also (and this is the part that we just love), his appearance changes to mimic the video game character that he absorbed. Wanna see Kirby with a Mario hat? Done. Kirby with a Jigglypuff hair tuft? He’s there. (Looks real cute.) Samus, Sonic, and Sheik? Check, check, and check! You name it, Kirby can be it.

BUT! As extensive as Kirby’s wardrobe is in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, he still can’t copy ‘em if they’re not in the game, right? We love a good video game brainstorm session at FUN.com, so we dreamt up a dozen more ideas of characters we’d like to see Kirby inhale. We put them in cute trading card style, along with our imagined special attack that Kirby might be able to use.
