Glamping Gear Guide

Summer is almost here, which means it's almost glamping season! Can we get a collective YAS? For those of you with questions—What is glamping? What does glamping mean?—we've got you covered. Dictionary.com's glamping definition reads, "the activity of camping with some of the comforts and luxuries of home." So sure, camping is alright, but in the 21st century, glamping seems like the more plausible option for some outdoor fun. To help you get started, we put together a list of some of our favorite glamping gear. So if you're ready to hit the road in your camper or you rented a woodsy Airbnb, keep on reading for some quirky camping gifts!

While we don't sell glamping tents, we have plenty of fancy camping products to help fill your glamping equipment list. Your camper may already be "homey", but you can never have enough fun decor. Let's be honest, who isn't a fan of sequin pillows? They're reversible, colorful and absolutely adorable. To help keep the dirt and leaves out of your camper, luxury tent, or cabin, bring along a fun doormat to keep the great outdoors on the outside. You can also spruce up your space with glamping decor ideas like glamping lights, blankets, and even battery-operated clocks. Get yourself a noisemaker that has "woodsy" noises and you'll be set to go!

Imagine the sun is coming down on you at full blast. The A/C in your camper stopped working and you smell like your crusty gym clothes in the backseat of your car that you're too lazy to clean...you need a drink. Whether you're a fan of beer, wine, or straight-up alcohol, we've got drinking accessories to add to your glamping checklist. Bring the comfort of home with you with a sturdy, lidded wine tumbler. We also have plenty of insulated tumblers and water bottles with lids to keep your drinks cool (or hot!) while keeping out the bugs and helicopter seeds. Typical tin camping mugs can't hold a candle to these cool drink containers.

Anyone looking to have a good time at a cushy bonfire outing knows you need a few things: some brews and tunes! Find a variety of coolers and drink holders to keep your beer, wine coolers, or other bubbly beverages nice and chilly. Structured coolers are great at keeping drinks cold for hours, but if you're strapped for space, an inflatable cooler is easy to store. Speaking of portability, wireless Bluetooth speakers are great for cranking your bonfire tunes of choice directly from your phone! (If you're glamping, you probably already made sure you have internet access.) Also, don't forget some comfy hoodies. As the sun goes down, it can get surprisingly chilly, even around a bonfire.

Anyone worth their salt while going glamping knows you have to book a place near water, whether it be a lake, ocean, or river. Whether you're looking to take a lazy river ride or float around for a few hours on the lake, you're going to want to have some pool floats and beach towels. (Might we also suggest an electric pump for your inflatables if you want to be extra lazy? And by "lazy", we mean added luxury.) You can choose between inner tube, pool loungers, and flat float styles, but there's no wrong way to enjoy a beach!

After a long day of hanging out on the river and playing drinking games in your camper, you and your friends just want to kick back and snack. Thankfully, you can pull out a portable toaster to make a slice of avocado toast or fire up a personal blender to make a healthy smoothie. If you can stay indoors where there aren't any bugs, why wouldn't you? Gathering wood, starting a fire, and then cooking the food sounds like a lot of work just to have breakfast. (And don't get us started about making camping coffee.) Make life easier with these portable appliances! Don't see a design you like? Check out all of our appliances here.

Now that we have your mouth-watering talking about food, let's get down to business and talk about campsite grilling. Because you're glamping, you likely already had your portable grill in the car faster than anyone could yell "cookout". Naturally, with a portable grill in tow, you're going to need grilling supplies typical for tailgating like grill brushes, tongs, and spatulas. Who's to say you can't have a little fun and use your favorite NFL grilling gear? Glamping is all about enjoying yourself your way with your own personal flair, so naturally, you're going to pick your favorite glamping products!

It never hurts to have a little extra lighting on hand in a pinch when you're competing with the great outdoors. Whether you're finding your way back to the camper from the bonfire pit or digging through your luggage for some socks because your toes get chilly, these easy lighting solutions are a glamper's friend. Flashlights are always useful, while glow sticks are great if you don't have batteries handy. Even a little clip-on light can be useful if you'd like to keep your hands free! With these easy lighting solutions, you won't have to be afraid of the dark.
