Happy Star Wars Day from Fun.com!

Happy Star Wars Day from Fun.com!

It’s May the Fourth, when we all remember the atrocities committed by the Galactic Empire on Antar 4 and by the First Order on Jakku. It’s also when we visit our local stores looking for new Star Wars toys and say “May the Fourth Be With You!” a lot. But maybe that’s not very convenient because you happen to live in the Outer Rim Territories, or perhaps your favorite toy store recently filed for bankruptcy. (R.I.P.!) Or maybe you just don’t feel like leaving the moisture farm today. That’s where we come in! We’ve got the best Star Wars toys at great prices, so sit back, grab a milk (blue or green, your choice), and enjoy the May 4th holiday with Fun.com!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Toys

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Toys

Top row (left to right): BB-8 9” RC Droid, Porg 10” Stuffed Toy, Resistance Sky Speeder Vehicle with Poe Dameron Figure. Bottom row (left to right): Rey Jedi Training Black Series Figure, Kylo Ren Black Series Figure, Poe Dameron Electronic Helmet

Let’s start with Star Wars: The Last Jedi toys, since they’re the most recent. (That’s right, reverse chronological order, our favorite!) You’ve got a huge variety to choose from, like a remote-controlled BB-8 to a stuffed Porg, or even Poe Dameron’s helmet. No, not the actual helmet from the movie, but a cool electronic helmet that beeps and boops and stuff! There are even toys, 3 3/4" and 6" figures and vehicles!

Star Wars Rogue One Toys

Star Wars: Rogue One Toys

Top row (left to right): R2-D2 Smart Phone Toy, Jyn Erso Pop Vinyl Figure, K-2SO Pop Vinyl Figure, Darth Vader Red Lightsaber. Bottom row (left to right): Cassian Andor Nerf Blaster, Imperial Death Trooper Nerf Blaster, Jyn Erso Nerf Blaster

We’ll move on to the Star Wars Rogue One toys, since it came out before The Last Jedi. (Sticking with reverse chronological order? You bet!) Since this was more of a “war movie” (ironic for something from the “Star Wars” universe, right?), you’ll find a whole range of Nerf blasters. There’s another cool “remote control” R2-D2 toy, but this one's controlled by your smart phone instead of whatever it is that RC toys respond to. (Physics, probably.) And of course there are Star Wars Pop! Vinyl figures of all your favorite characters from the film!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Toys

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Toys

Top row (left to right): Rey and BB8 Black Series Set, TIE Fighter with Pilot Black Series Set, BB-8 Lifesize RC Droid. Bottom row (left to right): Poe Dameron with Speeder Bike, Poe Dameron with Snowtrooper Officer, Takodana Encounter Set

Except for a few years in the 1980s, Star Wars action figures never really went away. The sequel trilogy brought with it a huge boom in toys and production was steady while Clone Wars was on television. And then the Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys were released in the run up to the movie and everyone went wild. There were 3 3/4" and 6” figures, of course, but also deluxe Black Series vehicles like the TIE Fighter. And our personal favorite, a lifesize RC BB-8 that will follow you around! How cool is that?

Star Wars Rebels Toys

Star Wars: Rebels Toys

Top row (left to right): Hot Wheels Ghost vs. TIE Fighter Set, Hot Wheels TIE Factory Takedown Set, Hot Wheels Rebels Transport Attack Set, C-3PO Embossed Arch Tin Box. Bottom row (left to right): Ezra Bridger Pop Vinyl Figure, Kanan Jarrus Pop Vinyl Figure, Sabine Wren Pop Vinyl Figure, Hera Pop Vinyl Figure, Chopper Pop Vinyl Figure

Star Wars Rebels debuted a year before The Force Awakens, so it’s time to look at all those the Star Wars Rebels toys. (That’s right, we’re still doing this in reverse chronological order! You thought we forgot, didn’t you?) You can find Pop! Vinyl figures of all your favorite Rebels heroes plus Hot Wheels vehicles and playsets to reenact all those great battles. We’re not sure if you can mix and match Pop figures with Hot Wheels toys, but play with them however you want. We won’t judge.

Star Wars Lightsabers

Star Wars Lightsabers

Left to right: Jedi Master Bladebuilder Lightsaber Kit, Kylo Ren Bladebuilder Lightsaber, Luke Skywalker Nerf Lightsaber, Luke Skywalker Force FX Lightsaber, Darth Vader Force FX Lightsaber

It’s time to turn our attention to some Star Wars lightsabers. (What’s that? We’re shattering the order…The First Order! Now you’re wondering if this was an elaborate lead-up to a corny joke, and the answer is…maybe.) They’re a different kind of toy and collectible, one that’s meant to be played with. From Nerf lightsabers all the way up to Force FX lightsabers, you can swing them around, just be careful not to poke someone's eye out. (Safety first!) And yes, you might have to make your own “wow wow” noises with some of them, but there’s nothing wrong with that!

Have you ever wanted to blow up the Death Star? You know, for real and everything! Of course, by “blow up”, we mean inflate. (We had you going there for a bit, didn’t we?) There are pool toys and floats of the Millennium Falcon, BB-8, and two versions of the Death Star! And remember that Luke Skywalker might have blown up the Death Star with the Force, but you should probably pick up an air pump!

Did you find something for all the Star Wars fans on your list? (Including yourself, we hope!) If you’re still looking for that perfect Star Wars toy or collectible, head over to our Star Wars gifts and we’re sure you’ll find everything you need! But before you go, let us know about your favorite Star Wars memory or line from the movies in the comments!
