Engineer New Hires
It's the 1920s and the Big Four have taken over routes throughout Europe. It's time to develop those routes and claim victory throughout the old world. Of course, with all that work to be done, there are going to need to be several engineers showing up to secure the path and get the work done! Now, all the folks who have been running trains across the world are still welcome to throw coal in the fires, but we've got our eyes on the newest generation to join in the fun, too!
Fun Details
It's time to bring the fun of Ticket to Ride to the kiddos! Before throwing them to the full strategy of the complete game, this First Journey version of Ticket to Ride: Europe gives the game a more playful skin. With quicker routes, larger trains, and simplified rules, the whole family from 6 years and up can enjoy this 15-30 minute game. Each player begins by selecting their package of colored train cars and drawing up to two routes. Draw colored train cards from the deck and play the right number of same colors (or wild cards) to claim sections of the trail. Get bonus points for the longest track and for completing the routes in front of you. The winner is the engineer with the most points once the first player spends their last train cars.
Engineers are Getting Younger!
Ticket to Ride is a great game for all ages but the First Journey version helps to teach your youngsters the rails so they're ready to take you on in the more strategic versions! Get those whistles blowing because it is train time!
