The Quest for El Dorado Family Board Game for 2-4 Players
The Race to Gold
No one has found it yet. Plenty of explorers have tried and turned up empty-handed. El Dorado, the lost city of gold, is just waiting to be discovered and it just so happens, you’ve found a path that leads there. You’ll have to cleave your way through the jungle, paddle your way through dangerous waters, and spend a few coins along the way. Just make sure you don’t dawdle! You never know when someone else will sneak past you in the race for the discovery of a life time!
That’s how a game of The Quest for El Dorado goes. It’s a simple deckbuilding game designed by the experienced game designer, Reiner Knizia. It will have you collecting cards to help you cross through the jungle and across rivers to help you make it to the Lost City first. The first person there gets to go home with the gold!
The game comes with terrain tiles, which create the game board, along with playing pieces, tokens, cards, and a rules book for learning how to play. The cards even laminated to help keep them in pristine condition. It’s a rather simple game to learn, but can become surprisingly strategic when everyone has learned the rules. It plays 2 to 4 people and is a great addition to any board game night collection.
