Office Politics Can be Fun!
It's pretty important to find a way to keep your office environment friendly, fun, and filled with energy. Of course, if you're facing the scary possibility that your Scranton branch might be going under, that can be pretty tough. All of a sudden, the comical characters that you work with every week might be suddenly on another team. Are they going to be promoted to join "The Man" and rob away your office fun? Or can you save all your jobs by halting the promotions and keep your office family together!?
Find out if you have what it takes to win The Office: Downsizing game. In this game, 5-10 players will team up in a Dunder Mifflin Detection Mystery game. Each player will randomly get one of the iconic characters from the TV show... and, yes, one of you will be Michael! Each round is split up into one of the workdays and involves reading a secret email to see what strange events will take place. (They're all iconic moments from the show, so fans of The Office will love reliving classic scenes.) Roleplaying your character is optional (but totally fun). Half of the players are secretly on the Promotion team and are working to ensure that Michael doesn't discover their identity and fire them before the layoffs begin. Use your secret envelopes and the green and red event cards to deliberate with each other to see who is working to save Scranton and who is looking for those Corporate gains! On "Friday," Michael gives out the Dundie Award that may be worth extra points and then the players vote for who is to be canned. If the Promotion team is still intact, they win! if you've figured out the identity of the office betrayers, you can keep having fun for another season!
