Look on the Bright Side
Chim chiminey, chim chiminey, chim chim charoo, I does what I like and I like what I do...
That's not too shabby of a life motto, if you ask us! Seems like Bert was onto something. But you don't have to be your own one-person band to capture Bert's infectious spirit and zest for life. All it takes to turn yourself into everyone's favorite chimney sweep, street musician, and chalk artist is an upbeat personality, a lovely singing voice, a Cockney accent, and of course, the right look.
And that is where we come in, friend! This Men's Deluxe Marry Poppins Bert Costume can transform you into your favorite character faster than you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (which takes a fair moment, but still...). Dressed in the film's classic garb and armed with some of your own original songs, there will be no mistaking you for bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Bert!
This licensed costume can make even the classiest businessman into rag-tag, lovable Bert in moments flat. It's a dark blue jacket with a brown shirt underneath. The red necktie adds a pop of bright color, while the cap completes the look (and proves perfect for tipping at passerby on the sidewalk). Grab your chimney sweeper and put a little soot on your face (some black makeup will work just fine)—it's time to charm the crowd and help Mary Poppins save the Banks family, as only you two can!
Of course, if you do want to try the whole one-man-band gig, we fully support you. We will even book you your first few performances. It's not as easy as it may look, so make sure you get plenty of practice. And if all else fails, take up sidewalk art. It requires a bit less...coordination.
