Harry Potter Hogwarts Banner
You’ve received your invitation to Hogwarts. You’ve packed your bags. You’ve bought your textbooks, and you’ve got your uniform. But still, you worry. What if you stand out like some poor muggle? You need a way to really show your school spirit. But how do you do that?
The first step is buying this Hogwarts Wizard Banner. The special banner measures 20 inches by 30 inches and has a Hogwarts crest printed on the front. That includes the school’s motto: Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus. You know what that means, right? “Never tickle a sleeping dragon.”
Now, that makes us stop and wonder: who came up with such a motto? And did it come from painful personal experience? Personally, if we came across a sleeping dragon, we would never be seized with the urge to tickle it. We might want to poke it, but we’d probably resist that urge, too. But somewhere, sometime, long ago, there was some wizard who not only saw a dragon and decided to approach it, he decided to tickle it. And while whatever happened afterwards was lost to history, we know it was sufficiently serious that a school created a whole motto for it. So, let that be a warning to you every time you look up at this
Hogwarts Wizard Banner hanging above your bed. No matter how badly you want to make a name for yourself or go down in history, don't do something so stupid your school is forced to rewrite its motto to reference you. Don’t be like that guy. You’re welcome.
