Marvel superheroes have some truly incredible abilities. Whether they are super strong or super fast, have telekinesis or a hammer, they have all made the world a better place through the use of their special abilities. There is one power we consider to be greatly underrated, however, and you don’t even have to live in the Marvel Universe to see it. We're talking about the power of super gift giving! Moms and dads, cool aunts and uncles, and best friends everywhere have been using their gift giving powers to make their loved ones incredibly happy every Christmas morning. Gift giving is a power that does not come to all naturally, but with the help of this Marvel Comics gift guide, we are confident that you can become a super gift-giver, too.
You did it. You almost thought it wasn’t possible, but you made it all the way to adulthood, moved out of your parents' place and now you have a kitchen of your own. You cook your own dinners these days, you drink out of your own coffee mugs, and gosh darn it, you make your own toast in the morning! Since you can do whatever you want with your kitchen, why not decorate it in true nerd fashion with some awesome geek swag? Perhaps you could adorn your countertop with a Star Wars toaster, or maybe a nice Marvel pint glass to sip your beer from. We’ve picked out some of the best drinkware, kitchen gadgets, and other food prep helpers that are 100% nerdy and 100% a necessity for any nerd with a kitchen to decorate.
Alright buddy, it's time to get your head in the game! The biggest social gathering of your high school career is fast-approaching and you need to lock down a date for the big day. It's PROM for goodness' sake! Some of your peers have waited their whole student career to attend such an event, so sheepishly blurting out the big question in between class periods just won't fly anymore. It's time to step up your game if you want to not only secure a date, but create a fond memory for your crush. Hence, the era of the promposal! A promposal should involve props, puns, and plenty of ingenuity so don't even think about sending that lame text you just typed out. If you haven't thought of a promposal idea worthy of earning you a date (and the Instagram fame you've always dreamed of), don’t sweat it. We have plenty of promposal enthusiasts in the office so we're always churning out creative ways to ask your crush to prom (promposals weren't a thing when we were in high school, okay?!). So, no need to lose sleep over crafting the most ingenious promposal; just keep reading for inspiration that guarantees your date will reply with a resounding “YES!”
Comic book artists breathe life into new creations each and every year. Some of these new characters might start as a doodle on a napkin, or as a well-thought out addition to a long-standing comic book. It’s such a momentous occasion either way, but why do we stop there? Why do we forget their entry into this world without even so much as a nod of celebration? Well, this infographic looks to change all that by giving us an in-depth view of every major superhero “birth” since Superman first graced the pages of Action Comics back in 1938.
This extensive infographic shows the month and date that each superhero character hit the shelves of stores. It covers characters from Marvel, DC, Image, and even many other big name comic book mainstays. Unfortunately, Jughead didn’t make the list. His exploits as Captain Hero STILL weren’t enough to get him considered as a real superhero. (Sorry, Jughead. You tried.)

If you’re anything like us, you know that a chill evening with Netflix is the best way to spend your Valentine’s Day. You know, curled up on the couch with bae, basking in that cool television glow while binge-watching some Stranger Things or The OA. Quality together time, you know? For us, that also means snarky comments about the plot and dialogue, and obviously puns. Bad puns. Many, many bad puns. So in the spirit of bad puns on Valentine’s Day, we made some valentines based on our favorite Netflix original series. They’re perfect to put on your loved one’s Facebook wall, or print out and hide at the bottom of the popcorn bag!
